The Growing Market For Wholesale Solar Panels Saves Money And Earth

The Growing Market For Wholesale Solar Panels Saves Money And Earth

Article by Randolph Summitt

The growing market for wholesale solar panels is becoming a world wide player in the alternative energy world. Many more people are finally realizing the benefits of this renewable energy source. What was once reserved for a select few with budgets that could include the upfront cost of converting to this renewable and sustainable energy source, is now more commonplace as the upfront cost has substantially be reduced in recent years.

The ideas is really rather simple. A home or small business owner can put these cells onto their roofs where they can collect sunshine. The sun hits the cells where it can be expertly converted into clean and usable energy which can be used to run heaters, lights, air conditioners and other devices. The energy can be used directly or can be stored until later use in batteries.

The cells do not work on heat from the sun, but rather on its light. This means that they will still be useful and able to produce energy, even in the cold winter months. Of course, the amount of energy they collect and convert during short winter days will be less than they are able to output during the long days of summer.

There are a lot of benefits for putting these cells on a business or house. One of the major benefits is how gentle it is on nature. People who are concerned with preserving and protecting the environment are usually interested in this type of renewable and sustainable source of energy because it does not hurt the environment.

Clean energy has become a more and more important issue as the people of the world begin to learn more about joining together as global citizens to help minimize their carbon footprint. The need for clean and renewable energy sources will continue to grow as more and more people start to realize the need for them, as well as their availability. Everyone is starting to see that if everyone does just a little, it will eventually add-up.

Another substantial and important benefit that a home or business owner should take note of is the cash savings that the he will receive from installing the cells. After the beginning cost of purchasing the material and setting up the cells, they are free to operate. The energy that is produced is free and will save the owner money on the electric bill.

More manufacturers are offering cells which has made the supply of them drastically increase recently. Because supply is so high, prices have been driven down. What used to a luxury for people with a large budget or big companies, can now be used by everyday homeowner or small business owner.

The growing market for wholesale solar panels will likely increase as companies continue to produce more cells and as awareness in environmental issues increases. The popularity will also increase as people begin to see how much money can be saved by using alternative energy sources. Companies who watch market trends are keenly aware of this and will continue to make the panels in high volume for the foreseeable future, helping the prices to drop.

Home Solar Energy Products That Save You Money

Home Solar Energy Products That Save You Money

Article by Jim Henderson

Do you wince every time you open your utility bill? Unfortunately, it’s only going to get worse. Like gas, electricity prices are going to continue to rise.

But there’s good news. Solar power is becoming a more viable source of energy with each passing day. In fact, many experts believe that solar energy will surpass fossil fuels within 10 years. Eventually, all our energy will come from clean sources, such as the sun. It’s only a matter of time.

But you don’t have to wait. There are plenty of great home solar energy products you can use today that can save you lots of money. Here are some of the most popular:

Solar Powered Fans Fans are the perfect solar product because they work hardest when you need them the most–on a hot, sunny day! Solar powered fans come in all sizes.

Larger solar powered attic fans go on your roof and ventilate your attic. Smaller gable fans are installed in gables (naturally) and are perfect for garages, storage sheds, workrooms, and even barns. And solar powered vents are smaller still. These little guys are great for boats, campers, vans, and even dog houses!

Fans keep people cool, but they also keep spaces clean. Heat produces moisture, which in turn creates mold, mildew, rust, and bacteria. Solar powered fans don’t allow moisture to develop, and they work for free. They’re also easy to install because you don’t need to worry about electrical outlets or wiring.

Solar Water Heaters Did you know that 30% of an average home’s energy cost is due to heating water? And most of that hot water is never even used. What a tremendous waste of money and resources!

Solar water heaters provide the greatest amount of energy per dollar than any other solar product. And you don’t have to worry about running out of hot water, since most systems include a back-up system using gas or electricity.

They even make portable solar “showers” that are great for campers. Just fill them with water (they hold 4 gallons) put them in the sun, and in a couple of hours you’ve got about three hot showers.

Solar Pool Heaters These are very popular, and it’s easy to see why. For just a couple of hundred dollars you can raise your pool’s temperature by 10-15 degrees, adding months to the swimming season no matter where you live. Because they are so simple to install you can easily take them down during the coldest winter months.

Solar Powered Fountains Whether you want a birdbath fountain, a cascading fountain, or even a waterfall, solar powered fountains are a cost-effective way to beautify your garden or patio. Fountains are perfect for solar power because you don’t have to worry about electrical outlets, wiring, or power sources. Just put the fountain where you want it and enjoy!

Solar Powered Lights There are many different kinds of solar lights you can buy, including garden lights, deck and patio lights, spot lights, step lights, and security lights. There are even solar Christmas lights!

These are some of the most popular home solar energy products you can buy today. People who use them say it feels great knowing they’re not wasting energy anymore–or money! After all, the sun is continually throwing off tremendous amounts of energy you can now harness. What are you waiting for?

Solar power – Is Solar Power worth the money?

Solar power – Is Solar Power worth the money?

Article by John East

The new Home Information Packs (HIPs) give energy-saving advice on many forms of energy saving including Solar Power. So what does the government backed information really tell us?.

Following this advice by installing solar heating is environmentally-friendly and will begin to save you money. However, it will take 208 years to break even.

And it’s not just solar heating.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) research found that it could take a while to break even on other energy-saving measures, too.

In an average three-bedroom terraced house payback times range from five years for cavity wall insulation to over 200 years for solar heating.

Double glazing, energy-efficient condensing boilers and even loft insulation could take years to cover the initial costs by savings in energy bills.

We spend an average of 16 years in one property so homeowners may consider these costly measures just too expensive.

RICS has been calling for a reduction in the level of VAT applied to all energy-saving measures and for an attractive grant program to aid real change.

Its head of policy and public affairs said that the Energy Performance Certificates should be applied flexibly to all residential property, not just those that are being bought and sold, thought to be 6.9% of homes. The idea behind these certificates is to encourage homeowners to implement energy-saving measures to help reduce carbon emissions.

Having a house’s energy performance assessed costs between

Energy Efficient Electric Radiator Systems Can Save You A Lot Of Money

Energy Efficient Electric Radiator Systems Can Save You A Lot Of Money

Article by Augustine Walker

If you have an existing storage heater system in your home, you may have experienced frustration with it and are currently considering purchasing an energy-efficient electric radiator space instead. As you already know, storage heater systems operate differently than other forms of heating, because they draw electricity throughout the evening and into the night so that they can be charged up to provide you need for the next day. This means the stars he receives the economy seven tariff which implies that this is a cost efficient system. Conversely, storage heaters are not as economical as they are claimed to be.

Storage heaters release heat throughout the day whether or not you need it. Therefore, this leads to an irregularity of either not enough heat in the home, or too much. Often, many people find that they need additional heating sources such as a portable heater or a fireplace in order to assist them with their heating needs. Another complaint about storage heaters is that they simply are hideous to look at. They are very old looking and their oversized in comparison to modern electric heating systems. With storage heaters, you’ll often experience an extraordinarily high electricity bill as well, because the storage heaters are either overcharging themselves, undercharging themselves, or cannot keep up when the temperature changes. When it overcharges itself, you are using heat unnecessarily which is both a waste of energy and money, while in undercharging units requires additional heat sources. This leads to an extensive amount of energy and money wasted as well.

Although an economy seven storage heater offers its power is cheaper overnight electricity, we use it during the day you are charged a rate that is nearly 30 percent higher than the standard. This coupled with a lack of controllability of your storage heater, leads to incredibly high fuel bills, higher emissions, and extensive wasted money. *educators are also extremely complex and difficult to use. They are difficult to maintain the requirements that you need in your home, without having to constantly alter the controls on every unit to keep your home warm but within a budget. If you find that you have storage heaters that are just too costly, you may want to consider installing an energy efficient electric water radiator.

These energy efficient electric water radiators act directly, which means that he is available on-demand at the flick of a switch. Every radiator you install in your home can be controlled via a switch that you can turn on and off anytime of the day. This will provide you with a meeting schedule that fits your budget, your property, and your lifestyle. The electric water radiators fill up with water within eight minutes, allowing you to heat a room very quickly. Once you are electric water radiator has reached the temperature you set, and just although. Subsequently, they cycle themselves on not to maintain that temperature which saves you money. These radiators look precisely like the radiators to find in conventional gas central heating systems, except they do not require the plumbing or the installation expenses. Electing to purchase an energy-efficient electric water radiator, not only looks good, but will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

Solar Energy, Saving You Money

Solar Energy, Saving You Money

Article by Nadine Davis

More and more we are recognizing the importance of preserving our planet for a better future and for future generations. Being conscious of what we are doing to our environment and how to help it is fast being added to everyone’s agenda today. Individually, we can make a difference to contribute globally for our planet and a healthier future for us. The human race has utilized solar energy for many years and will do so for many years to come. The technology of solar power is improving all the time but the benefit for our world remains unchanged.

How do we get it?

One of the most practiced ways to harvest solar energy is by use of a solar panel. Solar technology is harnessed, converted and distributed in different ways and is characterized by how this is done. An example of a passive solar technique would be to orient buildings to the sun. This method was first put into use by the Chinese and Greeks, to draw light and warmth from the sun they faced their buildings south. Active solar practices are those that use solar thermal collectors and photovoltaic panels to obtain the energy. Aside from geothermal and tidal, all renewable energies take their energy from the sun.

Why change to solar energy?

Because the sun is dependably in the sky every day, it is an unfailing power source. Because of this, using solar energy is an environmentally friendly choice. Unlike fossil fuels that let go greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide and carcinogens into the air, solar cells do not discharge anything. One of the biggest motivations for most people would be that solar electricity is cheaper to use. Naturally there is the initial cost to set up, but in the long run it is more financially favorable. Maintenance wise solar panels are very dependable due to there being no removal parts. This means you won’t have to replace parts and can enjoy using electricity for many hours without the hassle of maintenance. Due to the government rebates available and the option to sell surplus electricity you create, there is even more potential to financially benefit from solar energy.

With customized solar power solutions available to schools, businesses and residential areas there is every reason to change to solar energy. Having solar panels installed by installers with great commitment to customer satisfaction is just the beginning. Be in command of your electricity bills and take part in helping the planet. Choose to change to solar energy today.

Solar Attic Fans – Save Money On Cooling Your Home

Solar Attic Fans – Save Money On Cooling Your Home

Article by M.S. Rochell

One very simple and affordable way to begin enjoying the energy savings of solar energy is by using solar attic fans. These can not only save you money by reducing your need for air conditioning, but also prolong the life of your roof and attic by removing excess heat and moisture that would otherwise build up.

Solar power can be harnessed to help with your electrical needs for just about any type of machinery or household appliance. Solar panels are generally placed on top of a home or together in a location that receives a majority of the sunshine. These can be purchased already put together or in kits for people who want to assemble their own. Besides running an entire home on solar power, some people opt to use solar energy only for certain parts of their home, such as solar attic fans.

These strategically placed fans are capable of cooling off a home in a matter of minutes. Houses located in climates where the mornings and evenings are cool, can bring in outside air during these times. This circulation changes out the warm air for cool air and brings down the internal temperature of the house. Money is saved by this exchange of air, since an air conditioning system usually requires a lot more energy to be used for cooling a home.

Not only do attic fans save money on cooling costs, but they are able to drop the temperature inside a home much quicker than an air conditioner. With each window that is open, the attic fan will pull in cool air from that window and pull it through the house to the fan. An attic fan that is ran on solar power cools in the same way, but uses the sun’s energy instead of costly electricity from the local power plant.

Many models of solar fans for the attic can either be attached to the current attic vent or with solar panels that are remote mounted. These units are usually made with the thermal switch already included and from a heavy-duty material.

The special powder coated finishes on solar fans enables them to withstand any type of extreme weather that Mother Nature may give. Solar fans can be attached to a home, workshop, farm building, or even a warehouse.

Some local governments or states may offer a discount to people who are looking into reducing the amount of fossil fuels used. People wishing to switch various parts of their household to solar energy can often receive money to assist with the change.

The cost of installing solar panels and other solar products can be quite expensive, so any little bit of financial assistance is helpful. Most solar products are also covered by a warranty, which means they will usually be repaired or replaced for free for a certain number of years.

Installation instructions come with solar attic fans when they are purchased new. These are relatively simple to install and the process can take around an hour to complete. There are plenty of sites online with complete instructions on how to install and weatherproof your attic fan before it is used.

Solar fans are usually equipped to use the sun’s energy while it is available, but can also be use with a regular current from the house’s electrical source. Solar power has come a long way over the past decades. As solar energy becomes for affordable and as the technologies become more refined, the possibilities are endless when it comes to using solar energy for powering household appliances!
